Campground Park Grill, Large Fire Box with Mounting Post
Part # GRILLLARGEFIREBOX

Price: $280.25

Quantity:

Our standard park campsite grill with large firebox is constructed of 3/16 inch thick steel (A569) with an integral ash retention flange and drain holes. Drain holes are located along the very edge of the fire box on the bottom. The weight of the cooking grate against the grill allows the grate to be adjustable to any position above the fire. Park grill grate is constructed from 1/2 inch diameter A36 steel bars located on 1.125 inch centers. The theft proof grate has a cooking area of 300 square inches and tilts back for easy cleaning.

Grate handles are constructed from 5/8 inch diameter A36 steel bars equipped with stay cool spring grips suitable for public use.

Campground grill is supported by a heavy duty 3.5 inch diameter pipe (included with park grill) to be installed in concrete (in ground mount). Post dimensions: 3.5 inch diam x 40 inch long. A theft proof base allows the grill to attach to the pipe and to rotate a full 360 degrees.

All joints are continuously welded. All exposed corners are chamfered for safety. Campsite grill finish is a non-toxic black powder-coat.

Firebox Dimensions: 23.75 inches long x 16 inches deep x 10.125 inches high.

Current lead time to ship is 4-5 weeks.

Manufactured in the U.S.A. to keep Americans working.

Seasoning your campground grill:

You should season the grill before preparing any food on the surface directly. Seasoning the grate can be done by burning the non-toxic paint off the grate bars as you use the grill. While the grate is heating, you can use a grill brush to clean the grate and scrape away any paint that loosens during the process. The grate will take time to season completely. Until then, you can use pans or aluminum foil to prepare your food.

Much like a cast-iron pan, building seasoning on the grill takes time and patience. As you use the grate, food particles will stick to the bars and build a protective coating for your guests to prepare food on. Before each use, it is important to use a brush to clean off any rust or loose particles from the grate after heating it. The grate can be lowered closer to the heat and then raised to be brushed before placing food on the grate.

Instructions for cleaning your campground grill:

At the start of each camping season, clean the grate with a wire brush to scrub any food remnants off the cooking grate. The cooking grate may also be cleaned with a mild dish soap, hot water and a sponge. Clean the outside and inside of the grill.

At the end of each camping season, remove ashes and place in a hot coal bin. We do not recommend cleaning the grill. Leaving the grease will help prevent rusting until the camping season begins again.
